It continues with better prenatal care, health care access, public transportation, and on and on. France is certainly not utopian, has a messy democracy, and is struggling with many social issues, but in general socialism in France benefits the people more that it's corporations.

A dispatch from France after 10 days into my visit: It is obvious why the French at all age levels, especially among the young and middle-aged are in better health than Americans in general and why the French live 5 years longer on average. It starts with what food they consume and how much.

It has to happen. And it can be a rolling strike. Eg.: Air traffic controllers two days. Train engineers two days. Longshoremen 5 days. All grocery store employees 5 days. One wave after another.

So here we are in 2025. Prima facie evidence that our democracy needs a major overhaul: 1. Seriously demented President. 2. Co-dependent Congress. 3. Seriously conflicted and corrupt Supreme Court. We need senatorial seating by population apportionment. No electoral college. 13 SCOTUS.

I was a skeptic about the import of the Epstein files.
