It's very expensive now mate. I saw one sell a couple of years ago for โฌ900.00 ๐คฏ but it's dropped a little bit now I think. It's a brilliant book though.

I get up for work every morning at 5 so I'm used to it. Unless I've had a few the night before then forget it. ๐คข. We have a huge one in York that over the years has been a goldmine. I've had Richard Hell,Ramones, Deadboys,Lords,Damned, Buzzcocks,Clash Ruts etc for 50p per record so it's worth it.

Pretty much everything you want is available on comps these days. The Soul Jazz, Rough Trade and for obscure stuff Bored Teenagers are all great but it's not the same as having the single. I don't mind a repress though if it's a particularly rare record.

Car boot sales can be brilliant for finding rare single although it is getting a bit harder.

Punk singles as a format are something to behold imo. The sleeves, the label and of course the music made the single essential back then. For most it was a one off unless they got extremely lucky or for some that first and only single was job done.
