He posted on Reddit earlier. “They told me that I was pepper spraying people in the crowd. But I was not. I was there neutral as a photographer. I was tackled from behind without warning. And pepper sprayed directly into my eyes while they had me held me face down to the ground.”

Aurora on 01/06/25 in Bushy Beach, Oamaru, between 19:30 and 21:00. Captured with a Nikon D600 and a Sigma 10.5mm fisheye. 15s exposures. It was my last night in Oamaru, too. Absolutely awe inspiring.
