A Cindy Drozda style finial box. African Blackwood with inlaid Tagua nut. 3" x 1.5"

Working with tagua nuts can be a pain since they have random cracks in the middle. I had to make the foot twice since the first one got too small once I got rid of the cracks.

A wand with banksia pod and resin handle, and a curly maple finial.

I wanted a simple look but it looked too much like a conductor's batton. Added a ball, carved a spiral, torched it, cleaned it up, and turned back to a smaller ball. 😅

An ash goblet I turned. I went as thin as I dared on the stem(1/16"). I tried for thinner on a second but it snapped.
