Disappointing - especially defensively - Think I’d play Robbo or Gomez at LB for a while - Kerkez shouldn’t be starting yet -Robbo or Gomez instead. Also, generally looked too rushed/panicky throughout & also a lot to be desired from set pieces defensively & offensively! #LFC

The thing that gets me is that Van Bronckhurst came in as a coach (replacing Heitinger) & part of the reason was to help the full backs - yet our full back have been terrible!

I think part of the problem is that Slot has changed the style of play this season - he wants to attack more & the new players reflect that - but it will take time.

But my god our defending leaves a lot to be desired

… this is a season of transition so uncertain displays were to be expected. But to this extent? Not sure. And certainly not defensively. Liverpool are a mess off the ball. On it they’re also incredibly short of coherent attacking patterns. Does feel as if Slot needs to pick a settled team for a bit.
