Highlight of my night

Mousey watched the "Music Box of Fate" Community Charity Cover during her stream. I was honored to help, even if it was for the smallest of parts in the choir.

I always get a little tickled whenever I give doctors their vaccinations at my clinic. Like, I KNOW that they probably have their own doctor or PCP they go to that can give it to them.

Call me naive, but I choose to believe in people.

It’s easy to be cynical, but that’s no way to live. People mess up. Absolutely hold their actions accountable.

But people are also kind, honest, & trying their best. We’re human. We stumble.

But we try anyway.

That still matters.

Got Filipino BBQ & Veggie Lumpia for potluck today at the clinic. Our social worker is moving to another city. Hence the potluck.

She told me I was one of the most compassionate nurses she's ever had the honor to work with.

That'll probably carry me for the rest of the week.

Had to wake up early so I can head to the dentist after work today.

I got a sneaking suspicion my wisdom tooth has been causing me this jaw pain for the past few days. The temperature sensitivity is the worst part of it all.

Anger is there to protect you. It can motivate us to address injustices, protect our boundaries, & advocate for our needs.

But healthy anger encompasses compassionate practices that don’t cause suffering for others or for ourselves.

What happened in Utah & Colorado yesterday was a reminder that gun violence will always be a #publichealth issue. The sheer impact it has on its victims & survivors is immeasurable.

We know how to prevent it. We know how to treat it (Gramlich, 2025).

But yet, we remain unmoved.
