Rust is starting to set on the skeleton of his face and shoulder. His cockpit has a cracked open hole where his Decepticon insignia would be. Blitzwing is covered in splatters of dirt and dried energon, his blood. Energon is dripping from his cracked lips to his chin and neck, collecting and flowing down to his shattered cockpit. The expression on his face is a mix of relief and sadness. Relief over being found and sadness over the circumstances and his partner's crying. Only the energon and his monocle are still bright colors, the rest of his body is slightly desaturated. Bumblebee is leaning against Blitzwing's torso, caressing what's left of Blitzwing's face with his hand while using the other for support. Tears are streaming down Bumblebee's face, his expression shows a sad smile. Bumblebee's eye shines a bright blue, but the white iris is glitching. Bumblebee's legs have some splatters of mud on them, showing he ran through muddy terrain to find Blitzwing. Both are under the shade of the tree that Blitzwing is leaning against, the tree itself showing some trails of energon behind him. Tall trees and bushes litter the background with light passing through between them.

A chunk of his face is missing with cracks spreading from the wound, exposing the exoskeleton and fangs below, one of his cannons is blown up, his right eye isn't working anymore, and he is littered in scratches and both magenta blood (energon) and cyan blood. His one functioning eye is shining bright and softly looking in Optimus' (who's not in the frame) direction. A set of blue colored hands gently touch and caress Megatron's wounded face and helm. These hands belong to Optimus. A Doodle of Optimus from Transformers: Animated. It's a redrawing from a frame from the movie "Howl's Moving Castle". His design is the one from the "Trial and Error" comic. Optimus' body is colored in blue while Megatrons, that is seen from behind, is colored in purple. While not as bad as Megatron, Optimus, too, has sustained injury. His face shows a crack, one of his audio receptors/fins has a hole shot into it, and scratches litter the rest of his head and shoulders. Optimus' expression is one of slight sadness, with his eyes shining brightly as he gently looks at Megatron. Like in the original scene, the text at the bottom implies for Optimus to say: "I'm sorry I took so long. You've been waiting all this time."

The first set of drawings I made for #blitzbee week, when it happened on tumblr this year.
