Welcome to ‘I had such a hard time trying to condense all of the lore into screenshot-able notes’ it’s time for too many headcanons abt La Squadra
KEY NOTES ABOUT MY HCS - I love imagining La Squadra as an only-somewhat-functional polycule. I like most La Squadra ships, so feel free to project ur fav Squadra ship while reading my hcs. Most crucially tho my all time favorite Squadra ships are Risotto x Ghiaccio and Risotto x Illuso so there are some references to that! I don’t necessarily imagine that everyone is dating each other, but they definitely have a complex web of relationships that I don’t have enough time to delve into - I like headcanons that also make characters worse just as much as ones that make them better bc I think it’s a lot more interesting to also give characters plenty of flaws, so some characters have unfortunately been hit with the Makes You Worse Beam RISOTTO NERO - Egyptian-Italian, NB Masc (he/it) - Raised by his aunt Wendy O after his mother abandoned him. His aunt and her son (his cousin) were killed in the drunk driving accident that would spur him to commit his first murder of many. - Used to want to be a sculptor when it was young. - Very into body modification - Specifically piercings. Likes to experiment with Metallica. - Very close with Illuso and Ghiaccio. Used to be very close with Sorbet and Gelato as well, before their deaths. He doesn’t actually enjoy leadership that much, but views it as something necessary of him. - Never really speaks unless he feels like he has something worth saying. As such, it’s usually pretty quiet. - Doesn’t always feel like a human being. He kind of likes that, though, for some reason. - LOVES sadomasochism and bondage. He can go either way and has a very high pain tolerance. He’s pretty picky about who he actually engages in S/M with, but he’s not closed off at all when it comes to discussing it with others. ILLUSO - Indian-Italian, Trans Woman (she/her) - Born in Kolkata, India and raised by a devoted single mother. They never spoke of her father and she never asked. She moved with her mother to Rome when she was about 5. Developed her Stand naturally when she was young and treated it as an imaginary friend. - If everything in her life had gone perfectly, she would’ve liked to be a dancer. - Any names she may have had before becoming an assassin are unknown. She chose the name Illuso after joining Passione. Risotto has taken to calling her Lulu in private. - Has a surprisingly deep understanding of herself and the people around her but often tries to keep distance between herself and others anyways due to a fear of vulnerability. Often times this manifests as her teasing or insulting the others. - Probably the most nervous out of the crew, she just does a decent job at hiding it most of the time. - Took her first life in order to defend her mother from a home intruder. She ran away after, but still tries to check in on her mother from the mirror occasionally, just to make sure she’s okay. GHIACCIO BIANCO - Trans Man (he/him) - Raised in an extremely strict household with parents who pushed him to excel in sports and academics. Developed his Stand naturally and accidentally murdered his parents with it when he was 15 years old. He was brought into Passione in exchange for having his involvement in the murders covered up. He transitioned a couple years later. - An extremely talented speed skater with an interest in figure skating that he doesn’t tend to be as open about. - HUGE motorhead. He’s extremely passionately obnoxious about cars, especially sports cars. His dream vehicle is a shiny red Lamborghini Diablo. - The name ‘Ghiaccio’ started out as a codename for him, but he took it as his given name after transitioning. - Really really likes and looks up to Risotto. He’s kind of like the Mista to Risotto’s Bucciarati in the sense that he’s exceedingly loyal, a bit hotheaded, and the two have a lot of trust and respect for each other.
