An additional annual tax deduction could be claimed for any inflation cost above the rebate. There would need to be limitations on which purchases the inflation could be deducted.

Someone smarter than I should suggest that democrats run on a semi-annual inflation tax rebate, to be funded by taxing billionaires.

This rebate will be paid to anyone whose family income is under $400,000.
