This #BlackHistoryMonth, we're highlighting "Owning Our History," on display in the State House. The public exhibit, by the First Unitarian Church of Providence, confronts the difficult realities of our state's past - including RI's leading role in the transatlantic slave trade.

Recapping this week - Sec. Amore spoke to the East Greenwich Rotary Club ➡️ taught a civics lesson at Bay View Academy ➡️ saw Suffs at PPAC with the Civic Leadership Program (even going backstage with the cast!) ➡️ and wished WWII veteran Roger DesJardins a happy 101st birthday!
