Residents have the right to keep their own doctor in long-term care.

Facilities may suggest their own providers, but residents can continue care with outside doctors, though family members and care partners will need to coordinate these appointments.

If you're being told otherwise, we can help.

Behind every prescription is a resident who deserves clarity and safety. Residents have the right to:

💊 Know what medications they are taking
📋 Ask questions about side effects
🏥 Choose their own pharmacy if desired
If something doesn’t feel transparent, let us know.

Sharing a room in a long-term care facility can be one of the biggest adjustments a resident makes.

If your loved one is struggling with a roommate issue, here’s what you can do:
✔️ Encourage them to share their experience
✔️ Speak with staff to explore options
✔️ Contact us if concerns go unaddressed

Regular podiatry visits are not optional. They are part of responsible, preventive care.

Untreated foot issues can cause pain or infection, reduced mobility, falls, and are an increased risk for those with diabetes and circulation problems.

Not everyone celebrates the same holiday—and not everyone has someone to celebrate with.

In long-term care, recognizing diverse traditions like Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa helps create inclusive spaces that reflect residents’ full identities.

Bringing a loved one out of their long-term care facility for the holidays can be meaningful, but it’s important to be mindful of the impact on them:

✅ Keep outings short and familiar
✅ Provide quiet breaks
✅ Maintain medication and meal schedules
✅ Consider bringing the celebration to them
