Dr. Jeff Rose has been named the new superintendent of Norfolk Public Schools. The approval from the School Board came Friday. Rose will officially become the 24th superintendent of Norfolk Public Schools Feb. 23.

Not quite to the point of issuing a snowfall map, but here is our thinking at this point. This could very well end up being a scenario where Southside and NE NC end up with the highest totals with the current model thinking on track.

It was another cold night with wind chills between -5 and 10° this morning. And the cold weather will stick around much of the week! There will be several days where we will likely not get above freezing in the afternoon!
