Independent in all ways, supports women's right to choose, honest, hardworking and a nurse as well as an educator.
So let me get this straight: the Governor's and AG's of CA, MN, IL, NY, MA, WA, NJ all push back on ICE and nothing changes. Susan Collins calls, and the Maine sweep stops. Hard to see that ICE tactics are all about safety. It is not only inhuman behavior - it's politics. Worried about her seat!

Continued deference to authoritarian behavior is alarming. Jack Smith hearing underscores the Rep. Party abandoning principle, courage, & their constitutional oath. The pattern of enabling spineless leadership, both from elected officials & supporters needs to end. Our democracy deserves better.

So, let me get this straight - we give "welfare tax cuts to the rich" who don't need the money, but can't find a way to provide healthcare for every American? So, that means that all other industrialized nations have better politicians than us. Change the tax laws so wealthy pay their fair share!

and...Competition in healthcare does not work like other markets. Why? Transparency doesn't matter when you're forced to use certain hospitals or network of physicians.
It's not like you can “shop around” for emergency care or prescriptions. Plus, Hospitals & insurers merge, reducing competition.

...and - evidence shows past healthcare reforms show that while companies saved premium $, workers saw little change in paycheck deductions or out-of-pocket exp. Why? Employers treat healthcare as a business expense. When they reduce costs, it redirects savings to Shareholder - not employee relief.
December 18, 2025 at 8:42 PM
R -Congress - passes a garbage bill that will do nothing for Americans and out-of-pocket costs. Simply put: Employer savings never trickle down. When orgs get cheaper insurance options (like association health plans), they pocket the difference instead of lowering employee contributions.

The move to invalidate the union contract for TSA employees is a stark reminder of how vulnerable workers can be when their rights are pushed aside. Union workers supporting Trump should take a hard look at what this means for their own protections and stand with their union brothers and sisters!

Here's a thought - create a universal type of option and let every employer and American be able to choose it. Then watch what happens with greedy insurance companies. Take the PROFIT out of healthcare! Abolish lobbying from ANY corporation or agency. FOR THE PEOPLE!
December 13, 2025 at 5:42 PM
Trump is an idiot! Doesn't know that ACA isn't a health insurance. It is an exchange that offers different insurance plans! HSAs don't work b/c they're Utilization management insurance. It deters from seeking care! I saw this as an administrator and nurse. Another dumb idea by Republicans.
December 13, 2025 at 5:39 PM
Republicans aren’t winning hearts, they’re rigging maps. Splitting cities/towns - their voices - is a way of clinging to power b/c they know their policies don’t reflect where the majority of Americans stand. Manipulating districts isn’t democracy, it is desperation. Talk about rigging elections!

I'm disgusted! Sick of the dishonest, misogynistic, narcissist, deadbeat debtor- bankruptcy baron, lying snake-oil fraudster, and FELON changing the names of our institutions for his own egomaniacal tendencies! YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE but embarrass us on the world stage!
December 4, 2025 at 4:37 PM
Disgusted! My sis was billed for medication she took in ER. Order written, RN brought pill, sister swallowed it. UNITED HEALTHCARE DENIED the claim though it is a covered medication. WHY? B/C my sister self-administered it! I guess as a nurse I will now have to place the pill in the patient's mouth!

I can't believe how many people are uneducated about undocumented people not having the ability to obtain Medicaid and Medicare. I guess they know their base is ignorant and doesn't perform any type of scholarly research and evidently didn't pay attention in high school government class.

And this is what Zach Bryan is talking about in his new song. This isn't the America we've known. This looks like the beginning of what Germany experienced when Adolf Hitler rose to power in 1933, exploiting economic despair, nationalist sentiment, and propaganda to establish a totalitarian regime.
I feel like this photo of masked, armed men pepper spraying a pastor protecting his community is going to be a defining picture of this moment in America for a long, long time.

Now that Kimmel is back, we need to get Stephen Colbert back as well. Cancel your Paramount plus subscription as well. If that doesn't work - Netflix - are you going to try your hand at a late night show? I will watch!

Sounds like a great plan! I am done supporting organizations that support this administration. Corruption knows no bounds with this guy and his minions.
I know what l'm doing at 11:30 pm tonight: turning on ABC to see if they're airing Jimmy Kimmel Live. If they DON'T, I'll note of every commercial that's run & I will boycott every single advertiser. If they DO air Kimmel, I will make a note of every commercial and I will SUPPORT those advertisers.

I walked the talked. Will you? I cancelled our Disney+ subscription. No more ABC Hulu, HBOMAX, or Disney+. I won't support those who cave to pressure. I stand with Jimmy, Stephen, Other Media, and Universities who are fighting against the probable loss of our country. Paramount+ is next.

History has shown how dangerous complacency can be. The rise of the Nazis didn’t happen overnight. It was a slow erosion of resistance, with people either going along or giving in. We know the result. The question is: Warning signs are here. Will we look back & realize we waited too long to stop it?

I believe in power to the people. It's time to hold the networks accountable for caving in to a tyrant baby. Stop watching networks like ABC & CBS until they stop yielding to pressure from those who abuse their power and influence. When we give in without question, we become part of the problem.

Finally,....That’s not how democracy is supposed to work. If we truly believe in liberty and justice for all, then we must stand up against tyranny and demand accountability. Silence is complicity.

Continued...Yet, it feels as though those rights are being selectively interpreted, favoring one side of the political spectrum. Is the Constitution meant to serve only Republicans?
September 19, 2025 at 12:18 AM
Another voice has been silenced. Will you be next? When will the other half of the U.S. wake up? What will it take for people to say, regardless of their political beliefs, that this isn't right? We are the United States, a nation built on the foundation of individual rights and freedoms.

Christian values? What is Christian about kicking people out of a country who are hard working and seeking the American dream? Cutting people off healthcare? Calling everything a handout? Be careful, because it may Jesus that is working at a plant that is raided... and they just deported him.
