We are staying home tomorrow! My sisters are taking their children to their husbands' families. My father is going back East for a college friend's 70th birthday. C is working on reducing contact with her mother. I am also quite set in my vegan-ish ways so Thanksgiving is fraught. It'll be nice!

put another way, the criticism that A.I. produces shoddy, overconfident, error-ridden outputs overlooks the relevant fact that so do many people who are currently employed, perhaps in a supervisory position over you!

at Irving Park and Kedzie there was a little billboard about the importance of ending gun violence and someone had written on it with a sharpie KILL DA OPPS so that's what I always think of whenever someone says "both sides"

It cracked me up to read that Martin Luther wrote that Henry VIII should just marry a second wife, because there's more biblical sanction for polygamy than for divorce.
"Oh you guys have real jobs" said the bartender when we told him we're a lawyer and a therapist. We kept talking. He's moved here from Fresno, to live life here as a gay man, it's easy to tell. I always find these baby gays so touching, with their hopes that the City will deliver on its promises.

I really wish someone would make a move of the 2019 revival of "Oklahoma!" I think a lot of people would benefit from seeing it, for example a lot of high school students. It's also kind of hard to justify theater ticket prices for something that makes you feel depressed!
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.
