Work colleague went home to Hong Kong and brought me back this beautiful A60 Toyota Celica XX by Tomica Premium.
One of the nicest little 1:64s I've ever seen.
It's been a while

The house is nothing crazy, but OMG THAT LOOKS LIKE A HITACHI SDT-7785 IN THE LIVING ROOM

The Volvo EX30 looks like it's heading towards the future. The BMW i3 looks like it's come back from it.

Yeah, this kind of dumb idea needs to be nipped in the bud ASAP

Cute feature in the Volvo EX-30, embossed into the tailgate.

This 911 is redolent of a better, kinder, more innocent age.

I like to design generic 1960s modernist cityscapes

If I didn't know Morton Harket existed, I'd assume he was AI.
NOBODY looks like this irl.

When I wake up tomorrow, my Vauxhall Grandland Electric will have turned into a VX220.

Mk3 Mondeo Ghia X looks POSH.
Wood-rimmed steering wheel! POSH.

I love drawing and I felt like pencilling an imaginary scene last night. From my mind's eye to paper. Took about an hour and I'm proud of it.
So it saddens me that I could have created something much more visually arresting, hi-res, photo-real, instantly via an AI prompt.
It's literally artbreaking

We've had the i3 for three months now... and it's utterly brilliant.
Nicola uses it in EV mode most of the time, charging overnight every fourth day or so. She's just filled the petrol tank for the third time. £9.
BMW should make them again so we can buy another used one in 2030.

Bought a book. Dated 1914, and complete with a handwritten gift notification from New York, it somehow ended up in Oxfam in Woodbridge, Suffolk, where I bought what feels like a slice of American history for £10. And it's gorgeous.

Well, it's superb. Great fun to build,
and a Lego set of equivalent detail - and only marginally higher quality - would cost a lot more.
Nice work Mattel / Hot Wheels

Winter filthy, but God I love driving this car
December 29, 2025 at 2:29 PM
It's time for a post-Christmas tradition, but this time it's not Lego.
I'd never previously been aware of Mattel Brick Shop, but the existence of a Hot Wheels NSX kit piqued my interest big time.
Build thread, then! 1/?

The original Wreckfest for mobiles is £0.89 on Google Play right now, and it's awesome.
I love discovering AAA games when they're several years old and dirt cheap.

Uncle Buck's Mercury Marquis was only 13 years old in the film.

1965 Mercury Marauder is definitely the coolest car I've seen in the residents' parking at a retirement home.

It's Christmas 1986. I'm wearing my Knight Rider sweater, and I've just unwrapped my Knight Rider stunt set. Quite liked Knight Rider, me.

Buy well, buy once.
My Nan's 1967 Kenwood Chef (now ours) will probably still be mixing Christmas cake in 3025.
