Passed through #WashingtonDC, (only caught half of the sign lol), quick dip back into #Maryland, and found State 21! #Virginia. Pic of the Washington Monument with a peek at the Capitol, from afar, is the closest I care to get these days. #48states

Today we crossed into State 20, #Maryland! And experienced the thrill of learning how to get through Baltimore without hitting any tunnels or other RV restrictions. 0/5 stars, not recommended. We are tired so here’s a pic of our views from inside Rusty! 😆 #rvlife #48states #seniordogs

Lums Pond State Park in #Delaware today, it doesn’t suck during #fallfoliage season. Brisk day but
the sun was shining, beautiful! Kiddos got a great walk and peed on many leaves. I can confirm if a dog poops in the forest it doesn’t really make a sound. #48states #seniordogs #rescuedogs

Wound through lovely #Pennsylvania #Amish country, passed through Intercourse, (it only took a couple minutes) 😆 and a quick jaunt through #Maryland, which we aren’t counting in the tally yet since we didn’t stay there… to State 19! #Delaware #48states

Drove through picturesque #Pennsylvania Dutch country and took the “Amish Village” driving and village tour (which was educational albeit not really Amish.) But, the doggos got to come, even on the driving tour, and met some potbellied pigs and a Mini Highland Cow. #48states #seniordogs

Muddy Paws Farm #animalrescue is more of an #animalsanctuary. Animals are allowed to live out their days here, well cared for and loved. I can’t say enough about the owners and dedicated volunteers. What a privilege to spend a morning helping out. Links below. More posts coming… #NewJersey #rescue
