I keep reading the debate about Shared Use Lanes in our city and I'm all about them.
But I just read the argument "cars need to give back some road tho" - that's the laziest take ever.
Cars, don't own the roads? Nor the people driving them? It's literally creating a boogieman that isn't a person.

I still chuckle how I keep meeting adults who think using Reddit over another App is like some weird badge of honor and puts you a step above everyone else and claim it isn't social media.
I just get the impression they post a lot of fucked up shit they don't want to be held accountable for ever.

I didn't feel like going into Marshall's, but I was sure glad I did when I got to see a young kid tell it's Mom to "fuck off, now" in front of a large group of people.

When sitting to watch Stranger Things and overlooking the actors being way older IRL than the characters they're playing - I think of the original 90210 and having to remind myself Andrea wasn't a parental figure, she was part of the teenaged click despite the fact she was obviously in her 30's.

I have one episode of Stranger Things yet and I'm sad to say it hasn't really gripped me yet. Like, I'm invested and interested. But I was expecting to have to pry myself away from the TV this weekend, but instead I have a relaxed "it can wait until tonight" attitude.

The more I read about Thanksgiving in America the more I chuckle to about Canadian Thanksgiving where; we don't take it nearly as seriously, it's on a Monday, but dinner is on Sunday so we can milk the long weekend.

I gotta stop clicking on articles telling me how a game from X year is being remade and how much work is being put into it only to find out it's not actually anything other than someone's passion project and the only way to play it is through a mountain of inconveniences and it's probably illegal.
