Grumpy old man for life.
Jake P@ul looks like the lion in The Wizard of Oz. Fights like him as well.

Still remains my favourite Star Wars film. Love a bit of snow in a film and there's so much going on.

Genuinely surprised this hasn't been censored yet!

What is this bollocks? I think AI should take over since humans have got brain rot.

this seems to have gone under the radar but it's the death rattle for the games. Imagine having a major games in the UK and not being able to watch? No one will watch.

BBC replaced by TNT Sports as Commonwealth Games live broadcaster
The subscription channel takes over from the BBC which had been the principal partner since 1954 and provided free-to-air coverage.

Finally begun my Christmas watching (and not begun as is tradition by Clark's Black Christmas as I can't find the disc).

My Christmas is less Christmas films, more....

occasionally, I have deep compassion for the protagonist of a documentary, but it's hard to understate just how remarkable Katya is. There are a few jarring directorial choices, but the decision to just observe makes this fascinating, involving and highly emotive.

An extremely clever film, especially the title, which starts off with one focus and then turns the camera on itself. Fascinating in the way it approaches its subject, victims and perpetrators.

The fact that anyone, child or adult, things strangulation is a normal part of sex is truly horrific. But here we are. People now don't seem to be able to separate reality and fantasy.

It's very right to discuss misogyny with boys but it has to be parents and schools.

Playing this again confirms my believe it's the most cinematic of the Uncharted games and would make a great film.

I saw absolutely no outrage on social media when customer service jobs were replaced by chatbots. Or when delivery drivers were replaced by robots/drones. etc etc.

If you've dumbed down a creative job to an extent AI could feasibly replace it, then don't be surprised when it does.

I notice Christoph Waltz is in Besson's Dracula film. He sure loves a director with a dodgy rep.

Decided I might pop to the theatre on my day off to see A Christmas Carol. £50/65 for a painfully uncomfortable seat, so I think not. These things sell out but they're obviously aimed at a certain section of society!

I can't believe it's a week until Christmas and I simply don't feel festive at all. It's really hard to feel anything other than depressed in this weather. Booked one day off for the past 4 weeks to do something but it's hard to motivate yourself to get soaked. I've never known a December like it.

This list demonstrates just how fragmented watching films is today. I've not heard of some. I wasn't aware others had been released. I've bot seen anyone mention a third of these online.

I've had two full-time permanent jobs in my life. I started at the bottom of both, on temporary contracts, and worked my way up. This is how most people outside of vocations gave done it, isn't it?

Lots of click click articles about Reiner.

Not sure how tasteful it is to try and cash in on the murder of someone but then again not much class in modern film criticism.

My local 3-screen Curzon has 5 screening of Avatar this weekend. 1 Wicked, 2 Knives out and that terrible Jimmy Carr thing.

They don't even show their own films

They should take that BAFTA back.

A step up from the first one, both in terms of graphics and gameplay. Less repetition as well. Still a fair bit clunky at times. Much more addictive to play through.

I wonder how much good will resident doctors and the BMA have right now. I'm sure all public sector workers would love a ridiculously large pay rise but most of us understand that to demand pay reparations is ridiculous.

Now no one uses FB all I seem to see are variations of "I'm privileged but not privileged enough to afford a golden goose". in all newspapers. Whining middle-class people about not being privileged enough. That and Gen Z madness like "I married at 26 & my friends think I'm a far-right wife".

Easily the best of these films but stumbles once again by not bothering to do the hard yards of a detective film. Interview your suspects? I couldn't tell you the first thing about most of them. Still, it's well made and Craig is at his least annoying.

What's you nemeses in video games? Mine are vehicles. Please don't make me drive, ride, steer something. I truly hate those sections.
