I realized I've never posted my deadlock oc (Valerian) updates!! I have some drawings and a sketch of his redesign + Asmoth (Butler) bonus!!!

A tall vampire with tan skin and a gothic romantic outfit. He is dressed in flashy jewelry and covered in red, purple, black, and white. There is a moth pendant on the collar of his shirt, along with many flowers covering his body. His hair is curly, black, and put back in a pony tail. A single strand of grey coils around his bangs Verbatim , but this time close up. Valerian smiles with short fangs, waving at the viewer with a soft expression. A simple sketch of Asmoth and Valerian. Asmoth is on the left, sketched in green. He is a giant moth with 4 arms and a hunch in his back. He has two sets of antennas: two for his eyebrows, and two on the top of his head -- both move to express emotion. Asmoth is very top heavy, having broad shoulders and thin legs. A monocle rests under his right eye, which compliments his butler attire (full suit). The Valerian redesign is sketched in red on the right. Valerian poses with a rose to his side and two fingers over his chest. He keeps his curly ponytail, though it has been slightly shortened. Val is wearing a short vest over a blouse with ruffles on his sleeves. A cape/shawl falls over his left shoulder, accompanied by a cluster of valerian(the plant) on top. His pants are thin and end at his shins, leaving room for his knee-high socks and boots. He still remains in the gothic prince aesthetic, but leans more in that direction now.

HERE'S WHY BEBOP X VALERIAN IS GOATED!! (Oc x canon deadlock)
I think they'd be really cute together because they fundamentally understand what it's like to be seen as strange or misshapen in this world, but do not let it turn into hate or frustration. Bebop is a golem made from scrap, a scrap years robot with feelings. Many people are prejudiced against him and for him into the box of being nothing but a warrior... In reality, while he is good at fighting, he's a sweetheart who loves the woman who created him as if she were his own mother. He cooks for her, buys her medicine, and all of his battles are fought so he can pay for her medical treatments. Valerian is a vampire prince who does not follow the blood sucking rules. He's empathetic and cares for all life, he could never bring himself to take blood from another. In this way, Valerian defies the stereotype/ box he's placed into; feeding off of emotions (ethically) rather than blood. Because of his rank and vampirism, he's often thought of as some prissy, snotty, regal bitch of a person... But in reality, he finds comfort in simple things. Dusty antiques, city lights, rain on soil, the sound of birds chirping, rusted machinery, etc. On top of all of this, he's extremely kind , too. They both are expected to be harsher people than they actually are; deep down, they are two sweetie pies... SECOND REASON They both have one person in their lives who they cherish as a parental figure. Bebop has Ms Shelly, the woman who created him, and Valerian has Asmoth, the butler who saved his life after Valerian saved his. I think they'd really bond over wanting what's best for their parental figures and appreciating how they loved so unconditionally...

A work in progress drawing of my oc, Norman. The color pallet is all varying shades of red on an equally red background; it gives off this eerie feeling of pain and dread. Norman has messy hair, scars along his frowning lips, visible veins protruding from his skin, and differently colored eyes of altered shapes/sizes.

I love the fact that Doorman is a powerful deity who CHOOSES to take the form of a friendly servant

Despite all of his power, he doesn't even seem to be evil or malicious (at least outwardly)

In some of his leaked voicelines, he's actually really polite and manages to keep his cool...(sometimes)
