That district has a Cook PVI lean of R+11. If the GOP is so worried that the actual missing persons from the floods, or other disruption is so bad it could cause CHIP Roy to lose an R+11 seat that tells you all you need to know about 2026.

After school care allows women and single parents to be in the workforce as most public schools end around 3pm. Without this care many would have to leave the labor force or scale back hours.

Increases dependence on men.
