We had a couple of hot air balloons fly over the house on Tuesday.

Sooner or later, Ollie will find a comfortable position on that box.

We had an interesting visitor to our water fountain this morning. Possibly a Red Shouldered Hawk.

Anybody want some apples? Our Apple tree is having a banner year. These are just those picked today. There's plenty more in the fridge.

Our cat Sylvester (Sly) was up to no good last night!

Just got an email from Social Security whose sole purpose was to celebrate the passage of the current government's bill. This is the first time I've ever seen official government channels used for purely partisan ends.

Our cat Curry probably did not like his medications any better than before. But we appreciated the nice customization by the nurses on the paper bag they came in.

Congrats to the Lady Longhorns on their first Softball National Championship! Gutsy performance in the deciding Game 3 when the bats finally came alive.

We're just past the peak of our roses in bloom this season. The white rose bush in particular put on a good show. A few years back we made a last minute decision to move it from the backyard and replant it out front rather than have the landscapers haul it away.

I'm glad to see former #Longhorn Worthy having a good game. Loved seeing him in Burnt Orange in the past.

I have to say, I love the graphics on screen of the #SuperBowl during game play. Simple, clean, easy to read
