Formula E had all the momentum going for it when it started and they magnificently failed. The circuits are ugly and boring, the pilots like B movie personalities and the cars have no identity. The format with cars on different power uses is ridiculous and kills the racing. Change quickly or die.

Procycling as i predicted here is paying the price of terrible management in all sectors. UCI, teams, organisers, manufacturers, federations. If the sport does nit pay more attention to safety and accepts less is better, it willcontinue to loose teams. It needs a profit making format. Now.

Huge mistake by Porsche to pull out of its heritage racing program by leaving WEC. And to focus on FE, an already failed series. It will cost them even more loyal customers. Electric and sportscar do not combine.

After the total failure of the Vuelta organisors and the despicable attitude of the Spanish PM supporing violant demonstrators, FIFA should eliminate Spain as 2030 worldcup co-hosts.
Will not happen but SpIn is a mess and can’t orgsnize anything.

An athlete should never complain about disturbed preparations because of iillnes or injury. When one decides to competen you declare yourself ready or you do not start. A professional must know and respect his body and it is counterproductive to compete in less than very good health.
September 15, 2025 at 7:54 AM
The negligence and incompetence of the Vuelta organisers has caused a serious and dangerous precedent. The cancellation of the last stage because of protestors will now open up all sport events for such disturbances. The organisors had a week to anticipate on this problwm but failed miserably

The only fair rule in a football about the transfer period is that it should close before the first competition game is played. Then, financially strong clubs, do not have unfair advantages which now allows them to make transfers when games are already played. In Belgium till the 6th!!! gameday !

The Video refereeing systems in sports have done nothing to eliviate or eliminate refeering mistakes. It has only changed the nafude of fhe mistakes and the responsibility for them. But it does kill the momentum and the healthy tensions of games. Away with it! Referee mistakes are part of the game

Formula E will disappear. The format was flawed from the beginning with races on the outskirts of town, average drivers with no personality or media appeal and more car processions than racing. Performance depending on battery charges. Ridiculous. Manufacturers are rushing fof the door.

Nothing has changed in 2000 years. from gladiator games to cage
Fighting, people pay to see blood and we are not far off from a full return to life or death fights. Human nature has violence in its veins and blood. Sad but true. We can not peacefully co exist.

After the halting if the F1 race in Valencia a decade ago i think it’s time to also remove the motorgp race away. The track, its location and the city do not reflect the growing prestige of motorgp under Libertymedia certainly holding the yearly finale there is a folly.

Perfect initiative the new mixed doubles at the US Open. Nobody really cares about doubles and it has become only for 2nd and 3rd ranked professionals or training games for the top single players instead of training. Good for amateur tennis. The realitu of today is: no public interest.

Inwill keep on emphasizing it. Many of the injuries incured today by the football players are due to the stud systems on the shoesoles. They do not have the same grip as the old 6 or 13 aluminium stud system. Of course the manufacturers will deny this.

Sinner is bringing back his physical coach. Of course. He knows too much. It was a tactical, temporary decision to fire him. A sacrifice. He now gets brought back or otherwise he would talk at some point. Sinner had to be suspended for 2 years and got nothing. 3 months in between grand slams.

Both Mr Lappartient( UCIPresident) and Mr Infantino ( FIFA) must be fired. They are incompetent and corrupt narcissists. Going over dead bodies to protect their own interests. And destroying 2 of the top pro sports only for personal gain and interest. They need to be taken to court.

As only predicted earlier today. Again a heavy fall in cycling. This time an US female cyclist. Reanimated, taken to hospital for immediate operation. Again there will be token reactions and investigation and tomorrow will continue as usual. Unacceptable for me.

Us, sports marketing and management experts, have fallen to the level of lawyers and accountants. And bankers. Abusing rules and twisting ethical codes to assure financial gain. Socalled for the client but of course actually for the agency. I realise I wasted my career to an undeserving profession.

I predict that the media rights model around professional sports will collapse. The platforms are no longer anle to recover the rightsfees. Also i see in Europe the marketing and sponsorship model fail. The pricing has become unrealistic and arhletes salaries in some cases obscene. I won’t play.

Cycling team management is appaling. They say they care but they let the the riders race on with serious injuries, concussions etc.. many are mentally broken by the falls but they are rushed back to physical fitness while they are not mentally ready. It’s disgraceful. It’s close to criminal.
July 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM
WNBA players say “ pay us what you owe us “. Not a good idea. It’s a loss making organisation which exists basically by the grace of the NBA. Women pro sports is a shadow from men’s pro sport. Except in tennis and golf they are subsidised by male sports teams and federations. Like it or not. Fact.

Amateur athletes get fit in gym, but buy nice looking running shows in stead of good quality ones and forget that good running socks are just as important as the shoes. Buy made in Japan Asics or mizuno shoes. 3 pair at fhe same time and interchange them daily. Socks and shoes.
July 19, 2025 at 9:26 PM
Too much is asked from top athletes to return quickly to top form after injury. It might physically be possible but they all break mentally after forced warly returns to competition. The limits of the human mental recovery are reached and breached.

The perfect ending to live is spending your last 100 USD on a bottle of champagne and a Havana. With nothing in the bank. That takes great timing and self knowledge. Most die with their highest ever savings in the bank as they are convinced they will not die this year.. or the next.. or next.

Dazn is a bankruptcy waiting to happen even with the recent Saudi investment. It’s business model is flawed and they overpay for rightsfees. It will take many sports property’s down with it in it’s fall.
Management is pathetic

It is ridiculous and mentally damaging to ask a loosing athlete for his reaction immediately after an event. Like a tennis final. Interview the winner but let the looser compose him or herself. And have an i gervieuw or press conference in the evening or the next morning. Or none.
