I forgot how, whenever I draw a cartoon about Russia, I get a quietly condescending riddle of an email with helpful links to correct my ignorance, from somebody who addresses me with informal familiarity but doesn’t give their name.
So helpful!

Keeping the Guard on the ground in states he,ll lose in the mid terms. Keeping people from being able to vote & controlling process of counting votes is what drumpf/gop/maggots, will use to rig the election in their favour. Like the assassination attempt, gop could have engineered this attack, too.

LNP a couple of times yesty claimed Labor fedgovt doing terrible job, its spending has boosted inflation.

Never any precise details, facts, instances, examples. Just the same dumb rhetoric.

And no bloody reporter or experienced journo has the guts or incentive to ask for details.

That stinks!

Hear hear. lnp have proven time & time again who👇🏻they advocate for. The insatiably greedy & obscenely wealthy have the voices with which to lobby for their own interests & ordinary voters are only heard at the ballot box & when we take to the streets to protest.

I am surprised but *genuinely glad* to see the Greens accept Labor’s lead on environmental issues by agreeing to support Labor’s signature nature protection laws. I was sure the Greens would block them but I happily stand corrected. A huge win for Albo. #auspol

Great to see emissions beginning to fall as more and more renewable energy enters our grid. This is what happens when you set clear targets, and back them with a robust plan—unlike the Coalition’s zero target and zero plan, which would see both emissions and the cost of energy rise.
Australia records biggest annual drop in emissions outside pandemic
Record output from renewable energy means emissions from coal plants are down as Australia’s greenhouse output has fallen for the first time in years.
