Today is my Friday (last day of work for the week) and I've managed to have NOTHING on my schedule for the next two days (because the rest of the month is so busy). I'm going to take time to decompress, be creative, and breathe.

Day 2 of learning Spanish. I keep trying to say things with a French accent because it's the only other language I've ever learned. But many of the words are very similar and that's kinda' throwing me, too.

It wasn't criticism she wanted, but she wanted me to discuss the author's intent. I hate that kind of discussion. It's like Taylor Swift fans swearing up and down that a certain song is about a certain thing, and it's all assumptions with a lot of b.s. thrown in. LOL

I had it out with my 10th grade English teacher because I refused to break down a poem. I argued that poetry was subjective and that my interpretation might ruin it for others. I still feel that way about art.

I only took a half semester of it in high school, and I've forgotten a lot of it. I do remember a lot of curse words from from a Puerto Rican friend who taught me the good stuff. 😆
