We need to reduce barriers for physicians wanting to bring their skills and compassion to our communities. Ontarians don’t care where their physicians went to high school. They want to know that a qualified, trained physician is going to be available in their communities when they need medical help.

Our constituency team has been hard at work! This summer we enjoyed bringing our constituency office into the community, including housing pop-ups, park pop-ups and visiting Cathedral Cafe to serve their clients.

A lack of oversight and planning from the Ministry of Health and Ontario Health contributed to this failure in care. We need accountability from those responsible and to put in place processes to ensure patients don’t fall through the cracks again.
