Formula 1 and Lewis Hamilton fan - #TeamLH.

Believer in fairness and integrity in #F1. Anti-cheating and manipulation in sport.
I think that Toto is right that the Merc PU is legal even if they were running with a higher compression ratio when the PU is hot.

But, it's a bit rich to say that others shouldn't complain if they think there's an issue. He'd do the same and has in the past. #F1 www.the-race.com/formula-1/to...

I'd have taken this before Barcelona. Ferrari had a good test and they do look to be up there.

There's still a long way to go, but there are reasons to be optimistic... #F1 www.the-race.com/formula-1/is...
Is Ferrari really on top after F1's first 2026 test?
Ferrari had already made a good first F1 2026 impression before the final test day at Barcelona. But what shape is it actually in beyond Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes-beating lap?

I’m reading that a certain Lewis Hamilton put in a lap time of 1:16.348 today.

The fastest time of the Barcelona test… 😁 #F1 #F1Testing

I have to agree with Karun on this one.

Ferrari made the right move in getting rid of Adami, but the delay in appointing his successor is problematic. Lewis is missing out on a great opportunity to build a strong relationship with his new engineer. #F1 www.motorsport.com/f1/news/lewi...

Sounds like a decent day for Ferrari. No issues, everything working properly and a decent number of laps.

A good start. It’s all we can really ask for at this point. #F1 www.motorsport.com/f1/news/how-...

A better effort on the SF-26 livery than on its predecessor. The HP doesn’t clash as badly. #F1

I'm not sure how the FIA think they're going to solve the compression ratio situation before the start of the season, tbh.

If they can't measure it and the hardware can't be changed, what are they going to do? 🤷🏻‍♂️ #F1 www.autosport.com/f1/news/fia-...

Not sure how representative the car itself is, but well done to Mercedes on the livery. Looks very nice.

Great to see Niki's red star, too. #F1

I like the added white in the Ferrari race suits. I'm hoping that carries over the the livery so we get something like last year's Monza special edition.

Slightly disappointed that the HP logo isn't sitting on a white background, though... #F1

Leaked images of what will supposedly be the Ferrari caps this year.

If they’re accurate, I’m hoping the added white signals what they plan to do with the livery. Something like last year’s Monza special would be good. It would make the blue HP logo less jarring. #F1

It’ll be fascinating to see the new cars and to see how much of what we can see on the shakedown Audi carries across to the rest of the grid.

New car, new PU, new language, new race engineer, new team. Jock is right. It takes time.

Hopefully, Lewis will be fully acclimatised for ‘26 and the team will have listened and learnt from his feedback. #F1

This sounds like a really interesting project. They seem to be trying to address many of the obvious issues with modern #F1.

As I've said before, Ferrari needs to listen to what their drivers are telling them.

It’s no secret that the ground effect cars have meant that Lewis wasn’t able to utilise some of his greatest strengths.

The compression ratios controversy is interesting.

Imo, teams not exploiting it will protest those who are, but those protests will fail if it’s impossible to measure when PUs are running.

It may not even be critical if others have better overall PUs. 🤷🏻‍♂️ #F1 www.the-race.com/formula-1/ev...
