Okay yall surgery is Monday. I do still need some help with this financislly especially to make sure I have money to cover bills and expenses while I’m recovering. I’m off from one job for 2 weeks but the other I cannot return to for at least 4 weeks

It's actually unreal how long wait times are just for assessment! The GIC for my city hasn't shifted from November 2018 referrals for at least 2 years. I really do feel for people who are stuck waiting with no other options.

Streeting previously acknowledged trans healthcare has an 8 year wait for a first appointment,
but this estimate suggests the national average is more than triple that (25 years).

And it’s not like you get hormones on the first appointment either, that can be a years long fight in itself!
