Purple-haired panther previously from Columbus, OH and now in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin.

Posts here will probably be a mix of random chit chat, philosophy, sports, fly-fishing, outdoors stuff, my wiener dogs, and possible some NSFW stuff.
Going to be an icy mess later today. 39 and raining now, melting a lot of the snow and wetting everything. Maybe 1/2 inch of snow later. Dropping to 20 by 5 PM and 4 degrees overnight.

"Every weird noise is not cause for alarm" and other things my dogs completely ignore when I tell them.

The inside parts of your wood stove are hot.

That last panel is everyone left on Twitter after all the rational people left for Bsky.

Boring day here since work is super quiet right now with the holidays. Hit me up with anything you are curious about!

Standard texting and not something like Telegram? Then it would be a coworker. Texting for me is pretty limited to work or family. I only have one friend still using text primarily.

My favorite of the sequel movies. The useless gambling planet side quest holds it back a bit, but I applaud Rian Johnson for taking Star Wars to new paths and not just rehashing the same story.
STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI was released on this day 8 years ago

Rob Reiner is responsible for a number of my all-time favorite movies:

Stand By Me
Princess Bride
A Few Good Men
American President

He also was highly instrumental in the push for marriage equality.

My arm is asleep and tingly, but by decree of the dog-human treaty, I’m just stuck here until they choose to move.

This is the way to watch Sunday Night Football when it’s 3 outside.

Assuming this is relationship wise and the answer is no as I have never been in one.

I’ve made mistakes though, like (unintentionally) overstepping boundaries, one of which sent me into a multi-year depression funk.

Bottomed out at -12 here this morning. -11 right now.
I'm cozy by the fire though, which honestly is really making my a dent in my cold tolerance for outside with it always toasty inside.

Look dog, I can’t take you seriously like that.
December 13, 2025 at 11:57 PM
Much better. Didn’t have to crack a window. Just sun going down and tweaking the fire a bit.

For sure. I think it’s natural to wonder about missed connections or possibilities, same with wondering if you should have told someone you were interested (or told the sooner).

I think these two are together and a friend pointed out it could also mean leaving someone unread and not responding. So…

I generally try not to do that, but from personal experience, it’s important not to put requirements around social media usage…

Ah the wood stove challenge, even with it 2 degrees out. Time to crack a window a bit.

How can you not love these goobers.

Probably not on open face. I have a huge self-conscious issue with embarrassing myself. It’s why the anonymity of fursuits was appealing. The prosthetic ones with makeup could be fun though. Keeps the anonymity factor while adding that bit of flare.

This is going to be a standard view here this weekend with the single digits rolling in.

This is probably my old man showing, but I have absolutely no idea what this means.

Most of the time. I’m generally pretty positive person, friendly, and generally assume other people will be good.

My biggest flaws are I can be complacent (lazy depending on perspective) and despondent/grumpy in some depressive periods.
