I didn’t realize my trip to Japan was over a year ago! This was the best trip ever, for both personal and business reasons. Took a ton of great meetings, met with a bunch of cool people, but then still took a couple days to silently explore fortresses in DisneySea so yeah perfect

I see a lot of responses to this being “a lot of games have a wacky sidekick, what’s the big deal” but like… Metroid Prime in particular IMO is pretty defined by the sense of loneliness and discovering things on your own, I would say this qualifies as potentially devastating lol
Finding out Metroid Prime 4 has a bumbling, comic relief sidekick that looks like this. It has maybe never been more over.
