Sunsets are becoming more red and there is brown smudge on the horizon at sunset.
It was not like this when I was young.
It's spring here so not from fires.
This is atmospheric pollution from, in part, burning ~100 million barrels of oil per day.

Electric Vehicles and renewable energy are eating into the demand for oil.
Soon supply will outstrip demand all together.
Inflation will no longer be tied to the price of oil, and that is a good thing.
