This key is regularly moved forward for FS and refreshed for PCS. We also study re-encryption of ciphertext with newer public keys for shorter corruption windows. Our constructions offer interesting perspectives: without HIBE, with small public keys, or small ciphertexts. 2/2

Forward Secure (FS) KEMs are known, but what about Post-Compromise Security (PCS)? We study KEMs with FS and PCS in our AC '24 paper. One application is that, instead of using separate key material for each session of a receiver, the receiver uses a consolidated secret key. 1/2
