On Friday, Hamas announced it is ready to release all remaining Israeli hostages, one of the biggest conditions in President Trump’s new Gaza peace proposal.

In a statement shared by the White House, Hamas said it would start talks right away on how to release the hostages and would also agree to hand control of Gaza to a Palestinian led group of independents. However, the group did not accept all of the other terms in the plan.

Earlier this week, Trump, backed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, unveiled a 20 point peace proposal. It calls for an immediate ceasefire, the release of both Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners, more humanitarian aid for Gaza, and longer term steps aimed at ending the war.

Natasha Hall, a senior associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, told Al Jazeera that the real challenge lies with Israel’s “ambiguity.” She noted that Gaza is largely destroyed, with Hamas’s military leaders and negotiators killed. “Hamas is almost not an actor anymore. The issue for the United States and the international community is how much patience [they are] going to have for dealing with the other points of this plan, which are actually really essential for ending the war,” Hall said.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is pushing for new rules that would force social media influencers to clearly show when they’re being paid. In a post on X, she argued that influencers should have a special badge or a different-colored verification mark if their content is sponsored.

She compared it to TV and radio ads, where broadcasters have to say, “This message is brought to you by…” Greene said the same level of transparency should apply online, since many influencers are funded by political groups, corporations, or even foreign governments.

In another post, Greene added: “It’s offensive to the American people that social media influencers can secretly pocket money to push propaganda without ever telling you who’s funding them. If TV and radio must disclose ‘brought to you by…,’ then influencers should too. And if they’re being paid by a foreign country, they must register under FARA. Period. Transparency matters!“

Greene is right on this point. If foreign governments are paying to shape public opinion, people deserve to know exactly where those messages are coming from.

A new CNN/SSRS poll shows that 17% of Americans now identify as democratic socialists, putting them almost on par with the 18% who say they are part of the MAGA movement. The finding shows how democratic socialism, once seen as a small group in U.S. politics, is now as common an identity as MAGA or libertarianism.

Among democratic socialists, support is strongest among young adults (24% of those aged 18–34), Democrats (35%), liberals (41%), and lower-income earners (21% under $50K). Black (23%) and Hispanic (19%) respondents were also more likely to identify as democratic socialists compared to White respondents (14%)

The findings also reveal that Democratic Socialists have a strong base among people of color, directly contradicting establishment Democrats like Ritchie Torres, who has falsely claimed that the movement is mostly made up of well off White Americans. This poll undercuts his narrative and shows he is echoing propaganda rather than reality….but what’s new?

Is this why Trump wants to dismantle all left leaning groups? He sees them as an emerging threat to his Pro Billionaire administration?

Former South Carolina state representative RJ May has agreed to plead guilty to distributing child sexual abuse material. Prosecutors say the 38 year old Republican, once a leader of the state’s Freedom Caucus, used the online name “joebidennnn69” to send more than 200 illicit videos through the Kik messaging app in spring 2024.

Court filings also allege he may have traveled abroad under a false name and engaged in sexual activity with minors.

A federal grand jury indicted him on ten counts. Under a plea deal he will admit to five, each carrying up to 20 years in prison. He must also register as a sex offender and could owe restitution to victims.

Adelita Grijalva, who just won Arizona’s 7th Congressional District with more than 68% of the vote, is still waiting to be sworn in as a member of Congress. Until that happens, she can’t cast votes, including on the petition to release the Epstein files, where she would be the decisive 218th signer.

The House is set to return on October 7, but Speaker Mike Johnson could delay her swearing-in until after Arizona’s official certification on October 14. Grijalva says the delay feels political, noting that other new members, like Virginia Democrat James Walkinshaw, were sworn in right away without waiting for certification.

Johnson’s office insists it’s following “standard practice” and waiting on the proper paperwork.

If they had nothing to hide they wouldn’t be this hesitant about the matter. Even MAGA people see through the BS.

Trump announced he wants to declassify all U.S. government files related to the disappearance of pilot Amelia Earhart. He called the case “an incredible story that has fascinated millions” and said Americans deserve to see whatever records remain.

The truth is this “fascinated” millions of Americans in 1937. Today, Americans want to know which oligarchs and politicians were buying children from Epstein and Maxwell.

Of course, Trump won’t do this because a lot of his donors and friends are involved. The fact that he’s talking about Earheart shows how desperate he’s getting which means Democrats need to keep pressing on the Epstein files.

Four U.S. senators are calling on Secretary of State Marco Rubio to take immediate action to protect Americans aboard the Global Sumud Flotilla, a group of ships sailing to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza. The flotilla has reportedly faced drone attacks and other threats while traveling across the Mediterranean.

The letter, dated September 24, 2025, was signed by Senators Edward Markey, Jeff Merkley, Chris Van Hollen, and Elizabeth Warren. They noted that U.S. citizens from states including Maryland, Massachusetts, and Oregon are among the passengers and deserve protection under international humanitarian and human rights law.

The senators urged the State Department to press the Netanyahu government to avoid using force against the flotilla and to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza.

Senator Chuck Grassley is criticizing U.S. support for an economic bailout of Argentina. He argues that helping Argentina doesn’t make sense because the country is a major competitor to American soybean producers, undercutting one of their biggest markets.

“Why would USA help bail out Argentina while they take American soybean producers' biggest market?”, he said in an online post.

Grassley suggests that the U.S. should instead use its leverage in negotiations to protect and prioritize the struggling American farm economy, especially family farmers, rather than aiding a competitor.

In another major twist Trump now says that he won’t allow Israel to annex the West Bank.

“I will not allow Israel to annex the West Bank. I will not allow it. It’s not going to happen,” he told reporters after signing an unrelated Executive Order.

Trump claims he spoke to Netanyahu who is on his way to the United Nations. “It’s been enough. It’s time to stop now.”

Trump shocked the world after he told reporters that Ukraine can regain all their territory with the help of NATO allies. Now, he has done a complete 180° on the illegal West Bank annexation, something that he and supported until now.

I guess Trump was not kidding when he said he wanted to go to Heaven. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

In a new Op-Ed, former drag queen and ex-Congressman George Santos says he was denied an inhaler for 30 hours in prison, left gasping for breath. He describes being cut off from family and ignored by staff, vowing accountability.

According to Santos, when he was transferred to the SHU on August 28, his urgent pleas for an inhaler were ignored for more than 30 hours.
The disgraced former lawmaker has now appealed directly to Donald Trump for intervention.

Whether or not the public takes him seriously, his story highlights a painful reality: prison neglect is real, and it can be deadly. There is no real ‘corrections’ in the U.S., only punishment.

And if prisoners aren’t rehabilitated, their return to society will only worsen the quality of life for everyone. We hope this diva eventually becomes an advocate for prison reform in order to improve society.

The Amsterdam city council has approved a motion calling for the exclusion of Israeli sports club Maccabi Tel Aviv from participating in city sports events. The measure, introduced by the Denk party, urges Dutch sports federations to bar clubs that are linked to illegal settlements, contribute to occupation, or tolerate extremist behavior among fans.

Enforcement would depend on cooperation from national sports bodies such as the Dutch Football Association and the Dutch Olympic Committee.

Supporters of the motion argue that the city should not host teams they say legitimize or profit from Israel’s occupation.

Israel joined the Asian Football Confederation in 1954 but, after decades of boycotts by Arab nations, Israel was expelled in 1974 and later admitted into UEFA in 1994.

Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company, xAI, has reached new agreements with the U.S. government. The General Services Administration (GSA) announced that federal agencies will soon be able to use xAI’s chatbot, Grok.

This is part of the government’s “OneGov” program, which is meant to make it easier for agencies to buy and test AI tools. On top of that, xAI has also signed a contract with the Department of Defense worth up to $200 million.

In July 2025, Grok posted antisemitic and racist remarks online, praised Adolf Hitler, and spread offensive language before the company deleted the posts and apologized.

This happens when you have a CEO that considers basic facts as “woke,” in order to push his flawed ideology.

When users asked Grok what might change in its next version, Grok responded that xAI would probably “dial back content seen as overly progressive, such as strong focus on social justice issues, in order to match Elon’s idea of ‘truth.’

A new poll shows that more than half of voters in California’s 11th Congressional District say they once supported Rep. Nancy Pelosi but now believe it’s time for someone new.

The poll, conducted for Chakrabarti’s campaign by Beacon Research, found 51% of voters want a change. Another 31% said they still want Pelosi to represent them, while 14% said they never backed her.

The poll also tested a three way race between Pelosi, Chakrabarti, and Republican candidate David Ganezer. In that scenario, 46% said they would choose or lean toward Pelosi, 29% backed Chakrabarti, and 11% supported Ganezer.

However, when voters were given a series of positive statements of both candidates, their age and their track history, most voters chose Chakrabarti with 44% followed by Pelosi with 36% and 11% choosing the Republican.

Though it’s still early, this poll could be a strong indicator of where California’s 11th District is headed. When voters get to know the candidates, the momentum appears to be on the side of Progressives.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced that Spain will send a naval vessel to support the Global Sumud Flotilla as it sails toward Gaza.

“Tomorrow, a maritime action ship will set sail from Cartagena, equipped in case it is necessary to assist the flotilla or carry out some type of rescue,” he said.

Spain has confirmed that the vessel will be the Furor P-46, a Spanish Navy high-seas patrol ship. Commissioned in 2017, the 93-meter-long warship is crewed by 52 specialized sailors.

Prime Minister Sánchez emphasized that the ship will leave from Cartagena fully equipped to support the flotilla or conduct rescue operations if required.

This marks a significant step, as the Global Sumud Flotilla has already reported threats and attacks while attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Earlier this week, FCC Chair Brendan Carr insisted that Republicans had nothing to do with Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension and that the government played no role in ABC’s decision. He claimed the network acted on its own.

But Trump has now said the opposite. In a Truth Social post, Trump mocked ABC for bringing Kimmel back, saying the show had already been cancelled because of low ratings and “Democrat garbage.” He bragged that the last time he “went after” ABC, the network paid him $16 million, and suggested he would “test” the network again to make money off them.

Trump’s remarks directly contradict the FCC Chair’s defense and suggest political pressure was, in fact, involved.

His promise to go after ABC once more highlights the constant lies spewed by this administration only for Trump to reveal everything on an emotional late night post, adding to another impeachable offense.

Colombian President Gustavo Petro used his speech at the United Nations to call for the creation of an international army to protect Palestinians. He said that nations opposed to “genocide” should unite and bring together their weapons and soldiers to help liberate Palestine.

Petro argued that the world cannot remain silent while tens of thousands of people in Gaza are killed and entire communities are destroyed. He described the conflict as one of the greatest moral failures of the modern era and urged countries to act collectively.

Trump has changed his tone on the war in Ukraine, saying he now believes Ukraine can recover all the territory it lost to Russia. Speaking during meetings at the United Nations, Trump said Russia is a “paper tiger” facing deep economic problems, and that with support from NATO and the European Union, Ukraine could take back its land “in its original form.”

This is a total shift from Trump’s earlier calls for negotiated compromises. He has not announced any new U.S. military commitments but stressed that America would help secure peace once the war ends.

Italy is sending a navy frigate to assist a the Global Sumud humanitarian flotilla bound for Gaza after the boats were attacked overnight by drones in the Mediterranean. Activists on board said they were targeted with sound bombs, flares, and chemicals, leaving the ships damaged and communications jammed.

Defense Minister Guido Crosetto confirmed that the frigate Fasan, already patrolling nearby, has been ordered to move toward the flotilla for possible rescue operations. Italy has informed Israel of its decision and called for the safety of all passengers to be guaranteed.

Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said Italy strongly condemned the attack, which it described as carried out by “unidentified perpetrators.”
