Unironically good advice. I still remember hosting a party in college and insisting on making lentil soup and putting mugs out, even though one of my roommates was skeptical, and not only did almost all the soup get eaten, people were so hype about it.

Me debriefing with Mike at the end of every day: "So then I said x, which I don't think is weird but maybe it came off wrong? Do you think that would be weird? What if I'm saying it normally now but I said it in a weird way then?"

In retrospect, what could have been more fitting for the Christmas Episode than a virgin birth?
There's a Servitor effect in Brindlewood Bay that, every time I have read it, I have thought "I can't see myself ever using that, it's too out there and I don't even know what the rest of the campaign would look like after this"
