After spending most of the time building the gameplay on the server, I needed to test that everything works correctly.
Asked Cursor to make me a quick screen, it's ugly but hey it works ! Next step is making this look like a game 😅

I spent last week mostly working on the API part of my game, since I'm going to build a Multiplayer Idle RPG, API is the cumberstone of the game and it's also where I have the least experience 😅
Good thing AI is there to guide me !

For my #shipaton game I mainly use Gemini to brainstorm and discuss how I should create the game's architecture.
The context size is perfect for these kind of tasks.
It knows most of the gameplay and helps me write the prompts for cursor.

I have one week of vacation from my 9-5 starting this evening.

Google is way faster to do reviews than Apple, shipped an update during lunch break, it got approved during the afternoon.
Hoping I get it approved on the App Store before tomorrow 🤞

Remade my screenshots experiments saturday morning, hoping for them to be approved quickly to immediately get feedback during the weekend (when I get the most downloads) and Apple took 2 days to approve them...

A lot of people are sleeping on Android, but for me it bring much more revenue per download than iOS.

I get 1/2 of my revenue from Android for only a 1/10 of the downloads. Lifetime offers seem to work much better there (no subscriptions)

Finally managed to change my developer account on the Play Store to an Organization !

No more finding 12 testers and waiting 14 days to release an app !

Last week I had a small bug in my app and two people reached out to me about it, fixed their issue and asked them for a review if they had a few minutes to spare.

They both left a one praising my reactivity 🔥

Is this a new stategy to get reviews ?!

Finally reached 1000$ of revenue across my apps 🔥

Might not be more for a lot of people here, but for my small side projects I'm pretty happy with it !
No life changing money, but hey at least I'm not loosing money anymore 😅

Been avoid the AI trend for months, guess it's time to finally build some AI wrapper 👀

I never did because I thought I wouldn't use them myself but after having another plant die in my house, having a Plant Identifier / Care app can't hurt 😅

After reading @arielmichaeli.bsky.social's article on the new ASO change regarding App Store Screenshots I decided to redo all the screenshots for Scory !

Localized them using Picasso, let's see if his really boosts ASO, but i'm confident it'll boost at least the conversion rate.

Google Play downloads start going up in the last weeks !

Didn't change anything, didn't push an update for two months so no real explanation but hey i'll take it !

Do you know any ASO tools that also handle Play Store ?

How do you know you had a productive month, you start reaching your cursor limit 😅

I've never reached it before, because I still do a lot of coding manually, but this time I had a lot of refactor to do 😅
