I think the tweet-sized version:
GUI yes
- was thinking of something very lightweight that could be grafted into existing architectures but
- given how difficult it is to API most government tech, you could envision a world where you could sim visibility via agents across platforms

It'd be easy to just overemphasize the practice of [insert artifact here] maps, but I think being able to write a good interview guide is invaluable.

Plus seeing different approaches can help you understand there's not just one way, but it's a tool for the task at hand.

One thing I tried to do differently in my service design studio this time vs when I taught 2 years ago was trying to ensure their design toolkit would last just as long as their "delivery chops." Also focusing on content strategy & IA this time too.

Doing it for research this American Bandstand episode from 1980 is a fantastic cultural study. Fun part was Dick Clark have a deep conversation with The Jam about what genre they are, connecting them to 1950s music & of course, the commercials.

I'd rewatched Serenity more recently than I'd rewatched Firefly, I don't remember much about the episodes at this point

Rewatching the Firefly pilot and forgot they were ever in space because the show spent so much time on the ground.

My existance is a series of happenstances but for some reason my 2x widowed great grandfather decided to leave South Carolina in the 1860s with his mother, 2 kids to New Jersey which is what seeded that half of the Jersey line. Still have no idea why he picked Middlesex, NJ but...it's wild.

Doing family research a few years ago and discovering lots I didn't know about my forebears (including the Civil War uncle) and how long they'd been here and the unspeakable things they'd witnessed in that time was nothing but inspiring. Both lines date back to the 1700s
once again saying: our ancestors accomplished more, with less, against worse.

i think it's funny that we've been trying to get people to write proper documentation for decades and the thing that finally does it is the prospect of getting the computer to write the code for you

Had to go back to Dropbox to find 2016 pics, mostly I'm going to have to dredge up playlists from then. I can't think of any specific record from that year.

Bo Bichette joining the long lineage of former Blue Jays who were also Mets including Carlos Delgado, John Olerud, Tony Fernandez, David Cone & many others.

Bummer Jays didn't bring him back, but that home run in Game 7 of the World Series was about as close to a swan song as a guy could ask for.
BREAKING: The New York Mets reached an agreement with Bo Bichette on a three-year deal worth $126 million on Friday, league sources told The Athletic.
