My mother was discouraged by NHS managers from reporting abuse (verbal, physical and sexual). Was told to just get on with her job - she was a nurse.

Our courts are in complete meltdown and guilty people are getting away with crimes and victims are not getting justice. Something needs to be done because we cannot maintain the status quo. Other countries in Europe manage fine without juries, why not us? We already have judges doing just this.

I was forced to take RE for the first three years of secondary school. It didn't affect me at all as I came from a very anti-religious household. In the final end of year RE exam I answered 'goat' to every question - the RE teacher went mad and swore at me, which did make me feel bad.

My now dead parents would have been the sort of people to vote for them - looking through rose tinted glasses at a past without immigration that never existed, living in their middle England town with nearly zero black or brown people, untouched by immigration.

Apparently it's only a 'hacker's dream' in the UK. The rest of the world manages to have ID card with no issues. Maybe we could ask one of the hundreds of countries that do issue ID cards how they do it.
