Really encouraging post to read, let's hope it reaches its audience 👏
Had an email from a Dawntreader subscribers this week, saying how delighted she was to be in the magazine & thanking me - it was her first published piece at 90 years of age. It's never too late to start! This is why I do it.🥰

There are nights when what is before your eyes is more beautiful than all your imaginings; better than thoughts that have kept you sound across a year.

I found this lovely card in a very bohemian shop in Glastonbury. It sums up my hope for life after Thursday... to laying down NHS & embracing the forest and all its balm for the next season.

Out along the old Bude to Okehampton railway line this morning, with bluebells where the platforms once stood, & female orange-tipped butterflies as easy passengers.
Happy Sunday! @indigodreamspub.bsky.social @ronniegoodyer.bsky.social @deborahharvey.bsky.social @vickygwriter.bsky.social #bluebells

Walks in our forest are often full of surprises. Look what happened when we met up with some local wildlife. Please note: no animals or reptiles were hurt during the making of this video, although I was extremely ruffled! @indigodreamspub.bsky.social @deborahharvey.bsky.social #RescueDogs #slowworm

Can you believe in 17 years together my poet & I had never been to the cinema together to watch a film until a few weeks ago. Bob Dylan had the power to sort that! No popcorn was thrown & not a single mobile phone on. We may even do it again! @ronniegoodyer.bsky.social @deborahharvey.bsky.social

If you listen really carefully, you may just hear these rooks gossiping while nest building at Church Cove, Lizard. 🙂 #Cornwall #LizardPeninsula @wavelace.bsky.social @jmatkin.bsky.social @annasaund.bsky.social @vicpickup.bsky.social #birds

Pine Marten preferred to whisper his wisdom to those lucky enough to be listening.
Today he whispered to the ferns. "Isn't silence special?"
He said, "I think it might be the language of magical things. Shall we speak it for a while?"
The ferns remained quiet.
As did he.

It's that time of day when the shift happens. Breathing in colour, shape and form; seeing longer and more intimately than earlier. It takes us home. @indigodreamspub.bsky.social @ronniegoodyer.bsky.social @deborahharvey.bsky.social @jmatkin.bsky.social @annasaund.bsky.social
