Idol PreCure are off to Kirakiland in the forty-fourth episode of You and Idol PreCure, now that they have a complete collection of Kirarun Ribbons.

Uta gets an offer to become an idol (not as Cure Idol, but as Uta Sakura herself) in the forty-third episode of You and Idol PreCure. That does mean taking care of her voice, though, so no more singing as she pleases...

One last time for the year of 2025, here is my Game of the Month. Then we start all over again in January 2026, but let's worry about that... well, next year. No honourable mentions this time around, just focus on a single game. One that was originally announced all the way back in 2017. We've been waiting for this one for a little while, but now we can finally play it.

This one is very much a Kaito-focused episode. He's performing the last show of his tour in Hanamichi Town in the hopes that his song reaches a certain someone.

The Idol PreCure Research Club faces abolishment in the forty-first episode of You and Idol PreCure. Kokoro steps up in order to try and save it.

We're halfway through the final season of anime for 2025, so I'll be sharing my thoughts on the shows I've been watching so far. Let's jump right in

Halloween has arrived in the thirty-eighth episode of You and Idol PreCure. Uta is afraid of ghosts and jack-o'-lanterns, though, so it's not exactly her favourite time of year. Maybe Nana can help her overcome her fear.

This month, we return to a certain city whilst catching monsters; specifically monsters that are capable of fitting into your pocket. Before that, however, the latter half of September going into October saw a lot of video games being released that I had more than a passing interest in, so I've got a fair few honourable mentions.

Mio faces her strongest opponent yet in the eighth volume of Eri Ejima's Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games manga: her own mother. This is an opponent she'll want to overcome, or else she'll have to give up on her beloved fighting games forever. This volume contains chapters forty to forty-four.

The leaves are falling from the trees, which must mean that autumn is upon us. The new season brings along with it new anime, so I'll be sharing my initial impressions of each show I've chosen to watch this time around.

Idol PreCure prepare for a concert in the thirty-sixth episode of You and Idol PreCure. After the previous episode, it's nice that they're jumping right back in to idol activities once again.

The summer has come to an end, so I'll be looking back over the anime I watched during it to celebrate my favourite parts. It was a season where bowling turned into time travelling, girls frequently visited a food court, great old ones took humanity on in VR, we saw everyday life in a city, good girls turned delinquent, the line between friend and lover became blurred, we learned the joy of rocks, and cats took over the world.

The autumn is almost upon us, bringing with it new anime to watch. Here I shall share the shows that I intend to watch for the season.

When an old Café Glitter menu is discovered that has one of its items crossed out, Hamori decides to investigate what that item is in episode thirty-four of You and Idol PreCure. 

Tough Love at the Office is a yuri manga written and illustrated by Sal Jiang. It focuses on two office ladies, Junko Shirakawa and Kayo Kuroda, who seemingly get along on the surface. Away from the public view, however, they're constantly fighting - and not just with words, but physically. Originally released as three separate volumes, Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga for an English language release and collected them together in a single omnibus.

Sugimoto and Kujou-sensei are in the spotlight in the eighth volume of Mikanuji's Assorted Entanglements manga. A rift opens up between them as mistakes of the past get repeated. This volume contains chapters one hundred and twenty-three to one hundred and thirty-six.

Idol PreCure receive lots of fan letters in the thirty-third episode of You and Idol PreCure, including one from a certain sumo wrestler. They just happen to bump into him, and discover that he's looking for a change of career.

Yuzu feels under the weather in the fourth volume of Syu Yasaka's How do I turn my Best Friend into my Girlfriend? manga, so Minami takes care of her. As Christmas approaches, things change between them... This volume contains chapters eighteen to twenty-three.
