It was! A lot of people I know who have read it loved it and say it was worth it, but it’s also kind of hard to get into the first bit because all the world building references an event 1000 years ago and it’s built around that event so it was hard to navigate at the beginning

Roommates went to a shrek rave last night and ig one of our friends hit it off with a guy that really wanted her to come back to his airbnb but no one wanted her to go so they invited this stranger to our house??? An hour from where the rave was???? The survival skills of this bunch is very minimal

Bf is on a bit of a sustainability/health kick recently so I tried really hard to get him gifts that would be super useful to him. But guys lemme tell you, shopping for a blue collar guy who doesn’t want anything and only puts three things on his Wishlist that’s going to 5 people is HARD
