a artists thoughts:

ive been making art for honestly as long as i can remember. i'm always still growing and many times redo old pieces because i feel i can make them shine better.

ive been taken on as a freelancer for a local coffee shop, ive done plenty of commission works, and even sell my works at events and booths.

im finally in a point in my life where i actually feel proud of my achievement's and the pieces i create. whether fanart or my original pieces and chibis. drawing has always been my comfort place, a thing to challenge myself and to see how better i can be verses myself a year ago.

so it's a strange paradox, for nearly half a year now, as myself and other artists have found, most all the social sites that art is shared to has nearly completely cut us from our followers and audiences.

tho ive learned not to strive on the attention of others, it nonetheless just feels nice to see others simply acknowledge my years of progress and enjoyments. to be at a point where i actually feel proud of my stuff only to simultaneously be at the lowest view count is a strange feeling.

when it comes down to it, my stuff is being reached by maybe a handful from what im seeing in analytics. i do the tags, the frequent scheduling and all that. short of giving all these sites my money to push it along ((because fuck that i refuse)) im just floating on an endless sea with tiny islands only in site in the distance it feels.

to many of my fellow creators this is a very common feeling it seems, like where getting shafted for no reason. i really dont know if theres anyway to fix this or to even do anything about it. these are just ramblings in the end but i just wanted to get this out there for the few that can see it or try to follow along. ill still continue to post my works, im happy with them and hey, if you do see them and like them, thank you for giving a second of your day ^^ we creators really appreciate it honestly.
