🔒 You can quickly lock the screen when you need to walk away.
⚙️ System Settings→Desktop & Dock→Hot Corners button at the bottom.
👉 Set a Hot Corner to: Lock Screen.
Now just swipe to that corner in a quick motion as you get up.

One of the secrets to my success is that while working hard, I am also always looking for ways to work smarter instead of harder. On a Mac it means using tools like: Shortcuts, Keyboard Maestro, ClipTools (mine), and LLM AI, etc.

🔍 You probably knew you could do math in Spotlight on a Mac.
But did you know it understands units?
You can add meters and cm.
You can work with meters per second.
It even converts, so you can add miles and km.
Works with currency too.

Go to Library. Choose the game. If the game has a leaderboard it should be there. I only found two out of the games I had.

I made a "Just Answer the Question" Shortcut as an example for an upcoming MacMost video. But I'm actually using it. I hate it when a headline has a question that could easily be answer in the headline itself.

Just watched Voyager "Deadlock" tonight and Deep Space 9 "Hard Time" last night. Both aired within a few weeks of each other in 1996. I can only imagine there were a lot of Star Trek fans back then having major existential crises back then after seeing these. Yikes. #startrek

macOS Tahoe lets us easily add emoji to our folder icons.
But Apple didn't really show that many examples.
Here are some ideas to get you started:

🗺️ Has "Flyover" been removed from Apple Maps?
I can't find it anymore in iOS 26 and macOS Tahoe. Anyone see it? There's no mention of it being discontinued other than a few posts with no replies from others also puzzled as to why it is no longer an option.

📰 As bad as "clickbait" headlines are "clickbait-and-switch" headlines.
Here's an example:
Headline: "Why I Will Not Be Updating To the iPhone 17 Pro"
What you think: The writer hates the new iPhone 17 Pro.
What the article is actually about: The writer likes the iPhone Air better.

I agree that no individual should get one with less than 512GB. But a cheaper model is good for some situations where little or no storage is needed: a classroom full of Macs where students don’t save anything at all to the internal drive, kiosks, front office desks, maybe some web-only situations.

I'm often called an "Apple fanboy."
Of course I am.
(I prefer "Apple enthusiast").
I mean I make tutorials for Apple users.
I'd be pretty miserable if I didn't like this stuff.
I find it weird there are many tech-related content creators that are so negative.
How do you even do that day after day?
