This Republican shutdown is harming North Carolinians -- from federal employees and service members not receiving pay to threats to nutrition assistance.

I want to hear how Trump and Republicans have affected you. Share your story at the link below:

Republicans shut down the government, and now House Republicans are planning a fourth week of vacation. They haven't spent a single day in D.C. since the shutdown started.

They need to come back to reopen the government and stop the healthcare premium hikes.

Our relationship with India, the world's largest democracy, shows that free and open societies can prosper through cooperation. But Trump's tariffs threaten that connection.

I joined @khanna.house.gov and 19 of our colleagues calling on Trump to reverse his tariffs on India.

During my Telephone Town Hall earlier this week, a constituent asked a question we've all been asking: How can we stay positive at a time like this?

Here's how I stay positive.

I think I know why Speaker Johnson doesn't want to bring the House back in session...

It's been a week since Republicans shut down the government. And where are House Republicans? On an extended vacation.

They control Congress and the White House. They must return to D.C. and work with us to lower health insurance costs that are hurting American families.

Wake County: Thank you for showing up to my telephone town hall last night!

I appreciated your questions on the Republican shutdown, expanding access to affordable healthcare, and how to stay positive despite the times we're living through.

I can't wait for the next one!

The victims of Jeffrey Epstein's abuse deserve justice. Pardoning their tormenter would be a slap in the face.

We need true accountability and justice. Release the files.

This morning, I hosted a virtual roundtable to celebrate #HispanicHeritageMonth and hear from incredible changemakers who are supporting North Carolina's Latino communities.

Hispanic heritage is part of our country's DNA. So grateful to hear from these important voices today.

House Republicans chose to shut down the government and leave town.

Now, they're extending their vacation and taking off another week.

Americans deserve officials who will show up to work, lower costs, and protect healthcare. House Republicans are failing at all three.

I loved spending time at the Wendell Harvest Festival and speaking with businessowners, young entrepeneurs, and members of our community.

I can't wait to celebrate next year!

I visited the Family Resource Center South Atlantic in Raleigh to hear about the work they are doing to support our community.

While Republican cuts to Medicaid and federal grants impact their service delivery, they're still providing support to children and families in our community.

Republicans control the White House and Congress, and they forced this shutdown.

That hasn't stopped them from spreading lies to try to saddle Democrats with the blame. Here's the truth.

Healthcare is vital to creating stable homes and communities.

But Republican cuts to Medicaid and attacks on the ACA could cause over 880,000 North Carolinians to lose their healthcare.

We can't let that happen. I will always fight for your healthcare.

Trump and Republicans already put Americans' healthcare in jeopardy when they eviscerated Medicaid funding to pay for billionaire tax breaks.

I'm not surprised they'd rather shut down the government than lower healthcare premiums.

Air traffic controllers have a hard enough job during normal times. During a shutdown, their stress is compounded by potential pay lapses, furloughed staff, and no new staff hires.

I brought air traffic controllers at RDU coffee & donuts today to thank them for their work.

No one should see their health insurance premium double overnight.

I'm working to restore Medicaid and health insurance funding that Republicans cut and oppose. Everyone should be able access to the healthcare they deserve.

Republicans would rather force a government shutdown than protect your healthcare.

Democrats are united in protecting you and your family, and lowering healthcare costs.

The people of AZ's 7th District elected Adelita Grijalva to represent them in Congress.

But Speaker Johnson won't swear her in because then we'll have enough signatures to force the release of the Epstein files.

Seat Rep.-elect Grijalva. Release the files.
