It was dropping very quickly, hope it found it's way back out again.
Hi Tom, it just headed off east at a rate of knots after the initial sighting, with a trail of gulls following it.
Well this certainly wasn't on the radar for the local patch this morning, a Northern-bottle nosed Whale, possibly the first record for the Humber estuary.
ebird.org/checklist/S2... A decent visit today, with the rarest find being a 'Helice' form Clouded Yellow on East Halton Marshes.
Not show how RBA reported it as a possible Pale clouded Yellow, as that wasn't submitted in my report.

Thanks for the replies, it has been reported to a scheme ran by the Natural History Museum which records and studies strandings live and deceased throughout the UK.
Anyone out there know who to report this to?, a dead adult Common Dolphin at Goxhill Haven this morning.
