I think a reasonable demo for my .hack// fangame is just the Delta Server (Mac Anu), and the areas from its Chaos Gate. All the demo feedback can then be applied to it and future servers. Still a ways to go in development, but at least now I have a goal in mind! 🙏

I wanted to do a more accurate check on the amount of possible areas found in my upcoming .hack// fangame.
Keyword 1 = 10 area types (minus sidequest areas)
Keyword 2 = 13 elemental pairs
Keyword 3 = 20 level options
Total = 2600 area name combinations
x6 Servers = 15,600
Not bad for a fangame. 😁

I woke up wondering what's the math about how many area combinations there would theoretically be in my .hack// fangame. On the low end, it's apparently around 1,450 keyword combinations. Thankfully, I'll only have to design like 12-ish maps per server, but damn, that's a lot of possibilities... @.@

I was hoping to stick to 100% original scripts and events for my .hack// fangame, but the more I add, the more I break and realize I am way out of my league on this. To compromise, since this uses a Pokémon kit, I'll keep its bag menu and battle screen style, focusing on sprites instead of arts.

I've updated the Chaos Gate UI for my .hack// fangame. Instead of unlocking individual keywords, you'll unlock groups of multiple. The more quests you complete in each Server, the more keywords you can access to try out. That said, my game won't have infinite combinations. 😅
