for whatever reason i've been going back to the pkmnquiz just to see how many i can name. tonight i got 952/1025 in a little over an hour, first 6 gens plus hisui, so i think this is my personal best, at least in quantity

Fun Fire Emblem Fact:
Arthur's (Fates) gimmick is that he is very unlucky, whereas his son, Percy, is very lucky. Despite this, Percy will always have a negative luck cap regardless of his mother (sans Corrin), and his luck cap can be even lower than Arthur's if Camilla is his mother.

For me, I’ve realized how much of a time sink each level is (especially if animations are on), so if you get hit with an unlucky crit or miss something important, having to reset is a massive waste of time. Also there are so many variations of mechanics per game that some just aren’t as good tbh

the fact job sites dont really let you just add a normal resume anymore is a travesty not just because it's annoying feeding everything into a digital meatgrinder but also because using ms word to add pretty embellishments would make third grade me proud and it probably wont even be seen by a human

playing pokemon emerald and im realizing now how Juan's overworld sprite is very clearly a hastily-edited version of Steven's because it looks nothing like Juan's art or battle sprite. like it's not even the right color palette let alone actually resembling the clothing he wears.

Bonus points: one of the ghosts is an old maid who gets mad if you aren’t cleaning the “right way” which changes arbitrarily so you’re constantly on edge of setting her off bc you used lemon scented cleaner instead of lavender scented

Tbh if it’s something you can afford or save up for, a gaming PC has been the better investment for a while now. A PC and a Nintendo console and you have like 95% of the market covered for games.

tbh one thing I don't think I ever really saw discussed about Smash Bros Ultimate is how almost every final smash got reworked into one of three types:
1. Linear screen wipe
2. Point-and-click reticle
3. Grapple into cutscene

I guess it was for balancing but still so underwhelming
