Thank you, I usually get torn apart for pointing that truth out, even if we got just 10% of yessers to donate £1 a week that would bring in 18 million a year, more than enough to fund an enormous multi year indy campaign, it just saddens me so many indy commentators will never address this publicly.

The thing no one talks about is voters say that they hate the wealthy buying politics, then when they get a party that refuses to be bought, they won`t give it a dime. 1 million+ yes voters left the entire burden of funding the SNP on the shoulders of 60k of thier fellow Scots, what does that say ?

Yet despite proving for 90 yrs they refuse to be "bought" by the wealthy, 1.4 million Scottish yes voters will not fund them, leaving the entire indy movement and left of centre policies sitting on the shoulders of 60k of thier fellow Scots. What does that say about the conscience of so many Scots ?

I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Given younger journalists will not see how thier worldview is already pro union (they won`t get jobs in these outlets if it isn`t) then no pushback will come from staff who are effectively just stenographers to thier editors, with cut and paste anti indy framing of stories.

Increasingly the public especially the under 40`s are tuning out from these outlets due to this rigidity, they may register clicks but the majority of comments one sees are a litany of people rubbishing the outlets, quality of "journalism" and discussing / ridiculing the overt pro union bias.

True, but it was ever thus, that's why I always personalise discussions into asking them what rights I have that they are willing to give away by not voting or voting for those who would remove them, its usually quite effective, not that it wins me any friends every time.

Given far to many voters are simply to apathetic to fight for thier rights, they can`t complain if others just take away those rights they just cannot be bothered to protect, serves them right to, harsh as it is, if you are not willing to protect what you have one cannot be surprised when its lost

Ouch, truth hurts, this to all bigots and racists should be required listening, statistically though, they aren`t here on Blue Sky they are on X, FB, Truth Social, etc so I doubt many of them will hear this message, statistically speaking that is.😀
