Sarah Sanders tried to mimic Trump and delay a district election for fear of losing her precious prison project but got slapped down by a judge. It’s a small but not insignificant victory against tyranny in Arkansas.

Proud that my small southern town of Hot Springs showed up for the No Kings protests. We still have plenty of MAGA cult members here, but it is refreshing to see so many others who haven’t lost their way. America has always been great, even though some Americans aren’t.

Republicans have all 3 branches of government control and still can't govern in a democratic manner, so they shut the government down for a more autocratic form of governance that strips people of needed rights and protections.

I’m getting beat up for saying democracy is dying in the US but consider:

Firing people for freedom of speech.

Arresting and “disappearing” people under ICE.

The propagation of militant right wing groups.

The normalization of hateful rhetoric from the president and MAGA.
