It's so hard for so many people to even fathom what it means to be poor. And I'm lucky bc I'm living with my husband's parents. If I wasn't, I would just be homeless with a bachelor's degree. Why do people think everyone just has the tools to get out of poverty, but we choose not to use them?

Just thought that before they knew what tourettes was, what if they saw someone with tics, thought they were possessed, and then put them on trial and one of the people in the courtroom had echolalia and started repeating their tics and the ppl thought the possession was spreading
