The party camps in an old farmhouse, only the attic is safe and stable. The sorcerer, who previously expressed a lot of interest in the glowy doodad liberated from previous dungeon, delays going to bed with the others - opting to study while the players sleep.

It's always interesting to see GMs perspectives on storytelling and players takes on writing characters and it just all melts together into something so wonderful

This is a bit personal but in a world full of nonchalance, I find such beauty in seeing the DND community express their creativity and passion for their characters and storytelling.

One of my favorite annual traditions is taking part of the 31 Days of Horror Movies thread on @rpg.net, which just kicked off properly today! This year I decided to use Frankenstein as my overall theme. Not shockingly, it's looking easy to fill 31 days with that alone.
