Last ones from me (before I get some tea on), spanning 1970-72: Three Dog Night, another Badfinger belter (its lack of a UK release sums up the disarray Apple was in by then), Lindisfarne and a Fortunes ditty which suits the day nicely. Have a good week y'all.

I mention how hard it is, finding Harvest company sleeves in decent shape... And there's two of 'em 😂
I see decent copies surprisingly infrequently, considering it was a top 10 hit. Even harder to find the Harvest company sleeve in good nick.
Four more from 1970/71: T.Rex's first top 10 smash, a Badfinger banger, Gilbert O'Sullivan (not sure he ever topped this one) and a very belated 2004 7" release from Nick Drake. Still tipping it down in Dorset.

Four from 1970/71 for a wet Dorset Sunday morning: Cat Stevens, Electric Light Orchestra (not a single until mid '72, but let's not split hairs), Brewer & Shipley (loving that label design) and The Marmalade.

I do like a bit of Lightfoot. That's a corker.
Co-wrote "Puppet On A String" and "Congratulations" as well - two Eurovision entries on the trot! Interesting career he's had...

Oh, and we just found another one... 😂 #Blackberry
We've now reached the "finding old phones at the bottom of drawers" stage of the clear-out. This was considered state-of-the-art when I got it 😅
Early start as the big sort-out continues - here's a few freebies that came with Sounds, with Iggy Pop, Blue Aeroplanes, Sonic Youth, Mega City Four, Pussy Galore, The Mission, Pixies, Dinosaur Jr, Throwing Muses and many more fab groovy artists.

Mine at last - even the outer delivery packaging is a nice touch.

I see your "Hole In My Shoe" is actually in the very desirable company sleeve for the Marmalade label. 😎
Most of my singles are now being packed away so I'm entering the "here's some I photographed earlier" phase of #WeekendSingles. Still, always a good reason to pull out some photos of #KirstyMacColl singles.

That "Laughing Policeman" is a bit of a curio. Charles Penrose's "hit" version came out on Columbia in 1926. Victory was a Woolworths budget label in the same period. I wonder if he re-recorded it as "C. Penrose" for Woolies for a quick buck? Columbia can't have been laughing 😂
When you order a raven from Temu...
Like the label says - it's certainly Different...
RIP #JohnLodge. His partnership with #JustinHayward helped transform the #MoodyBlues from a hot Brum Beat outfit to symphonic prog rock legends. Perfect double-header here, held off the top by the England World Cup Squad in 1970.

That generic Pye sleeve seems to have been a back-up if the label-specific ones weren't available. The bespoke Pye Jazz one was definitely cooler.
Been a bit AWOL from #WeekendSingles this week, but I do have a late #AlbumAlmanac entry as these fellas have been keeping me going during sorting/packing duties.

Today's long forgotten TV tie-in item: Bullets engraved with "I Hate J.R" sold very well in the U.K. around the time he got shot in #Dallas
